# Distribution

### Assign and Send

The Assign and Send page is where to choose who will be assigned to receive the survey and when they will receive it. A simple two-step process.

Whether you wish to assign to known contacts or choose an anonymous assignment, [both options are available](https://knowledgebase.metoliusaa.com/kb/portal/en/kb/articles/assign-and-send-a-survey?hsLang=en). If choosing the former, make sure to [add your known contacts](https://knowledgebase.metoliusaa.com/kb/portal/en/kb/articles/adding-company-department-and-participant-records?hsLang=en) beforehand.

### Schedule Log

After assignment, complete the process by sending your survey. You can send your survey immediately, or set it to send on particular date by [creating a schedule](https://knowledgebase.metoliusaa.com/kb/portal/en/kb/articles/schedule-an-assessment-to-send-automatically?hsLang=en). Also included is the option to schedule automatic reminders to be sent to those who have not started or completed the survey. On the fly-out menu is the option to edit or cancel an existing schedule and to view a log of all the schedules, past, present, and future.
