IR Widgets can always be added during report creation. **IMPORTANT**: Generating an Intelligent Report ALWAYS starts with a template. So, you will need to build a template before you can generate a report.  ### Setup 1\) Bring your cursor to the *Intelligent Reports* menu item on the main navigation bar, and select *Create Template* from the dropdown menu. ![7\_IR\_L1\_create-template](https://knowledgebase.metoliusaa.com/hs-fs/hubfs/KB%20-%20Enterprise/Intelligent%20Reporting/7_IR_L1_create-template.png?width=264&height=305&name=7_IR_L1_create-template.png) 2\) On the following page click on the Create Template button. ![7\_IR\_L2\_create-template](https://knowledgebase.metoliusaa.com/hs-fs/hubfs/7_IR_L2_create-template.png?width=688&height=157&name=7_IR_L2_create-template.png) 3\) On the following page, give your template a name in the text box, select the company whose assessment and data you are working with, and the assessment the data will be coming from, and click the *Create Template* button.
