Saving Datasets

Data Exploration

Making the most of Metolius Intelligent Reporting starts with exploring your data in charting. As you navigate your data, look for interesting trends, correlations, or outliers that catch your attention.

Identify Valuable Datasets

Once you stumble upon a dataset that piques your interest, it's time to harness its potential. Whether it's a sales trend, customer behavior analysis, or any other metric, pinpoint the dataset that holds valuable insights for your reporting objectives.

Push to Intelligent Reporting (IR)

With just a click, seamlessly transition from charting to Intelligent Reporting. While in charting, find the 'Save Dataset' button in the top right corner (item #1 in the screenshot below) that transfers the dataset currently displayed in charting directly to the IR environment.

Choose to redirect to Intelligent Reports or stay in charting.

If you choose IR, you will be brought to the report generator. ENT_save-dataset_L4

NOTE: A report template must be created before you can build a report, but this does not prevent you from saving datasets from the survey you are exploring in charting.

See this article on how to build a report template.

Once your template is built you can begin to build a report.

See this article on building reports.

Managing Datasets

The number of datasets you push to IR is not limited so naturally you may want to remove ones you no longer need once a trend or interesting correlation catches your attention that your report will focus on. Here is how to manage your datasets that have been pushed to IR.

1) Navigate to the Intelligent Reports menu on the main navigation bar and choose Manage Dataset.

2) Choose the company and assessment you are working with.

3) Once the datasets populate you can preview them to see what they are comprised of (see inset), or you can delete them. Both buttons are located in the Action column.
