Explore the different question types available in Metolius for your surveys to help you gather comprehensive data, including analytic, information gathering, open-ended, and dynamic filtering questions.
See this article for more details on each question type.
1) Analytic Questions
These question types have numerical values associated to their response options. When participants answer these questions the value associated to their response is calculated into the overall survey score.

2) Information Gathering Questions:
These question types do not have a value associated with them and will simply gather the information you ask. The results are presented as a percentage so you can identify what percent of respondents answered a certain way.

- Rank order
3) Open-Ended Questions:
Survey participants are encouraged to provide a free-form written answer to the question.
4) Dynamic Demographic Filtering Questions
Dynamic demographic filtering questions come in two forms, and what's special about them is that in charting, the response data can be filtered by the response options given for these questions. For example, a question about age allows you to filter your response data by the age options you made available to the participants.
